When a line is worth saving

The photos on this page show a fence line being replaced and finished redwood runs from Meza jobs. If your posts are soft, the dirt is pulling away, or the whole run leans toward the yard, say that in the message. Do not assume a board swap will fix a moving post.

Replacement is a new fence on the same line, or a new line if the old one was in the wrong place. We will not guess the property line from a phone photo. If you have a survey, mention it. If you and a neighbor disagree about the line, that is not a Meza legal matter; see the good-neighbor page for the Civil Code note and then talk to counsel.

Send the city, the length if you know it, and up to six photos. Include one shot of the worst post and one of the whole run. HEIC is fine.
